Known offstage as Rian Peters, this British-Canadian R&B artist has been making waves, and his 2019 EP “In This Thing Called Life” earned him a Juno Award nomination for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year.

Originally hailing from Peckham, London, and now calling Vancouver, British Columbia home, Iamtheliving brings a unique blend of influences to his music. Previously part of the project Suffer the Children, he’s proven himself as a standout artist solo artist.

In 2020, Peters joined forces with Vancouver rapper Teon Gibbs, to drop soulful singles like “Puppa” and “Between the Groove,” setting the stage for their collaborative EP “JNGL” in 2021.
