Kofi Stone – No Way!
September 6, 2026Raphaëla Cupidin – The Way
September 11, 2026For more than two decades, Québec rapper Souldia has built a career around raw storytelling and sharp lyricism. Born Kevin St-Laurent and raised in Limoilou, Québec City, he emerged from the province’s underground rap scene in the 2000s before becoming one of the most established voices in Québec hip-hop.
That evolution has continued across more than a decade of albums, from Backstage and Silence radio to Dixque d’art, Nouvelle vie and his collaborations with artists including Tizzo and Lost. Souldia’s writing has increasingly explored the distance between his past and the person he is becoming, without abandoning the directness that has defined his music from the beginning.
Released May 15, 2026, “Le cœur à la bonne place” brings Souldia together with Montreal R&B singer Blynk. Produced by Christophe Martin, the atmospheric track pairs Souldia’s weathered delivery with Blynk’s smooth vocals, creating a meeting point between Québec rap and contemporary R&B. The song reflects on change, self-belief, and the process of moving forward without letting outside opinions dictate who you become.
