September 3, 2026SAMANT has been developing a distinctive approach to production that prioritizes emotion, experimentation, and collaboration. His debut album, ATMANS, released in July 2026, marks an important step in an artistic journey built around experimentation and finding a sound that feels completely his own.
Soran brings years of experience as a Montreal-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Half-Japanese and half-French, his music draws from R&B and pop while incorporating Japanese influences and expansive electronic soundscapes. Beyond his own catalogue, Soran has written and produced for a wide range of artists, including Zach Zoya, Claudia Bouvette, FouKi, Johnny Orlando, and Alessia Cara.
Zach Zoya adds another layer to the collaboration. The MC and singer has developed his musical vocabulary through hip-hop, R&B, and soul. After moving to Montreal to pursue music, he became the first English-speaking artist signed to 7ième Ciel before later joining Universal Music Canada.
“BURN LIKE FYA” brings those three perspectives together on a concise, genre-fluid record that feels right at home within Montreal’s increasingly interconnected music community. Released as part of SAMANT’s ATMANS, the track is another example of his collaborative approach, pairing his production with Soran’s musicianship and Zach Zoya’s distinctive vocal presence.
